Help us put the finishing touches on Spearfish's newest trails!
The Dark Forest and Ancient Oaks trail systems are almost ready, and we need your help to bring them to life. Join the Spearfish Trails Coalition for a fun day of volunteering as we prepare the trails for opening.
Morning Session – 9:00 AM
Meet at the Winterville Trailhead
Help install the final trail infrastructure by setting sign posts, assembling trailhead kiosks, and installing wayfinding and trail signs throughout the new trail system.
Afternoon Session – 1:00 PM
Meet at the Winterville Trailhead
We'll wrap up the day by refreshing the skills park—tuning up features, improving the riding surface, and getting it ready for riders of all ages and abilities.
Whether you can join us for an hour, one session, or the entire day, your help will make a lasting impact. No experience is necessary—we'll provide the guidance and tools.
Please bring:
Work gloves
Sturdy shoes or boots
Water
Weather-appropriate clothing
