IN Progress!
Spearfish lunch loops
In August 2023, Rock Solid Trail Contracting joined us in Spearfish to develop our first comprehensive and ambitious concept plan for new trails and the expansion of existing ones on city-owned and city-leased land. We started with an initial vision of five zones and carefully refined it to four distinct zones that will encompass the entire project. In collaboration with the City of Spearfish, we’ve been diligently working to turn this vision into a reality.

New Trails coming soon!
Contruction begins Spring 2016.
Zone 3: Located in the city campground above the ice skating rink, this will be a gravity-focused skills area featuring a progressive network of downhill trails. Riders can build confidence on beginner-friendly flow trails with berms and rollers, then advance to more challenging descents with steep chutes, rock gardens, and technical switchbacks.
Zone 2 (phase 2 only): this trail will extend from the existing beginner trails in Winterville further into the mouth of the canyon. This beginner-friendly, directional flow trail offers a smooth, rolling ride with sweeping berms, small jumps, skinnies, and rock gardens.
